Trifunster

Today was a busy day.  First our club had it’s second try at an AGM.  This was held at 8:30am which is the usual run time and they were hoping we would have a quorum.  Because I am a good person (actually just suffer from a lot of guilt), although I wasn’t running with the club I showed up as did lots of other club members and the AGM could do it’s business.

The reason I wasn’t running with the club was my workplace was participating in a fun 5K against others in our industry.  It is a 5 person team and we only have 5 participants this year so they are forced to take me and my slow time.

My schedule called for a 1:30 run so I did a 15 minute warmup, did the 5K in 28:13 and then finished off the rest of my run.  Because I had to get the rest of my run in I took off quite quickly after finishing but was rewarded with an email later in the day to say our team had won in it’s category, even after having to take my time!
